A rare transitional - Nationalsozialistische Parteiabzeichen by RZM 69 - Fritz Spielmann from Pforzheim, (not confirmed according to my source). These were available for private purchase / given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P.” on a red translucent pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse is maker marked “42” and “RZM”. It also features a soldered-on round plate that holds a well working, but bent over pin assembly. Minor enamel flaws. It measures 15/16 of an inch in diameter.
