NSDAP Gau Badge 1934 Köln-Aachen
A nice example here! The badge is made of a die struck steel base that has been silver washed and burnished. The obverse features a centrally small bannered: "Hitler ist Deutschland" (Hitlers Germany) in front of a pebbled mobile swastika and four oak leaves. It also reads: "NSDAP", "Gauparteitag", "Gau Köln-Aachen" and "1934" to each oak leaf. The reverse shows oxidation and a full back with a pin that works well. It is also maker marked: "Tweer u. Turck Ludenschied". A nice piece to add to your Gau Tinnie collection!
