NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter Armband

Armbinde für Ortsgruppenleiter des NSDAP (1939-45). It is a multi-piece construction, made out of a red wool base with rayon and bullion. The rectangular shaped obverse features an NSDAP pip above a machine embroidered back rayon swastika above a white rayon roundel, both of which are piped with gold rayon. To the center is a ¾ inch oak leaf strip bordered in a dual gold rayon strips and the top and bottom edges have a thin gold strip and are piped in light blue (hellblau). The back side is stitched to size. The interior shows both prongs holding the pip and the up “oben” arrow. The armband has the odd thread catch yet it is in beautiful condition with nice bright color! It measures 8 3/4 inches wide by 5 1/8 inches tall. A great piece!
