NSDAP Ringkragen für Fahnenträger by RZM M1/128 - Eugen Schmidhäussler of Pforzheim. These are really impressive with a huge NSDAP eagle right to the center. This half-moon shaped, two-piece gorget is constructed out of a stamped piece of tombak/aluminum alloy construction that has been gold gilded/bronze washed with burnished details and covered in a lacquer coating. The obverse displays an NSDAP national eagle with out-stretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, on a smooth field with an oak leaf border. The eagle is secured to the center but can move. The reverse continues to hold its original green felt backing and shows two tabs to either corner. There is some mothing. One tab is maker marked “RZM M1/128” (Eugen Schmidhäussler, Pforzheim). It comes complete with the 31 link chain. The chain is maker marked “RZM M1/102” (Frank & Reif, Stuttgart). It holds beautiful details to the eagles and wreathed swastikas. It measures approximately 9 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches high. A beauty piece that is right for your collection!
