A Deluxe M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge direct from the Vet's family. The back connector and clip, buckles, bands and bottom clips are all constructed out of an injection molded zinc alloy base that has been burnished. Look at the clip has a unique oak leaf pattern rarely seen, I'mm 99% sure this was unique to Assmann but these are unmarked so believe as you may. Regardless these are desired. They all depict beautiful oak leaves and acorns throughout. The grommets (black enamel painted) and the prongs are steel based. All of these components are held together with two straps. They are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flat-wire stitching (obverse). All of the clips continue to work well. A wonderful set!
