US M1 Swivel Bail Combat Helmet
A two-piece helmet, comprised of a resin-impregnated canvas liner and a Manganese shell, first developed in 1941. The shell retains approximately 95% of its rough-textured olive drab paint to the exterior, and about 95% of its smooth-textured olive drab paint to the interior. The helmet has 1943-45 production swivel bail loops for the chinstrap. Shell is complete with its original two piece olive-drab webbed chinstrap and metal fittings. Helmet rim has its seam to the obverse.This comes compete with a Capac WWII heat stamp.
