NSDAP Political Uniform Buttons by Assmann

Here are four NSDAP Political Uniform Buttons by F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid! They are constructed out of two pieces of die struck steel/zinc that has been silver gilded/silver plated. The round shaped obverse depicts an early political style eagle with outstretched wings clutching a stagnant swastika in its talons, in front of a pebbled backing. The reverse are marked “Assmann A & Söhne Ges. Gesch.". Three have crimped on aluminum wire loops. One has two crimped on steel prongs. They measures 13/16 of an inch in diameter. Two of the buttons have some oxidization on the reverse as seen in the photos. A very nice grouping!
