NSDAP Political Uniform Buttons by Assmann & Overhoff
Here we have two NSDAP Political Uniform Buttons! They are constructed out of two pieces of die struck steel that have been gold gilded/silver plated. The round shaped obverse depicts an early political style eagle with outstretched wings clutching a stagnant swastika in its talons, in front of a pebbled backing. The left buttons reverse is maker marked "RZM M5/8 Extra A Fein" (Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid) and has an aluminum loop. It measures 13/16 of an inch in diameter. Minor oxidization to the reverse. The right buttons reverse is maker marked "RZM M5/71" (Overhoff & Cie., Lüdenscheid) and has an aluminum loop. It measures 15/16 of an inch in diameter. Some oxidization on the obverse. A wonderful set of golden buttons!
