Large silver frame with applied gilt national eagle of the Reichsmarschall, polished highlights. Silver stamped “835” with manufacture logo and "Zeitner - Berlin", Goering's preferred silversmith Professor Wilhelm Zeitner. Dimensions 25 x 36 cm. Large-format Rohr studio photo of Goering as Reichsmarschall with peaked cap, in his hand the Marshal's Staff, decorated with the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross in 1939. Accompanied by its case of issue; constructed of heavy cardstock, with a dark blue lightly textured faux leather (leatherette) exterior, with a eagle embossed in gold on the exterior of the lid; with silk lined interior lid stamped with marking of the workshop H.Zeitner Berlin (storage age, damaged edges). Extremely Rare original direct from Vet's family and never been in a collection. Condition Frame -Mint, Case- Good
