Italian GIL Youth Dagger

A GIL (Gioventu Italiana del Littorio) Pugnale. The double edged plated steel blade looks good. It has some minor bubbling and surface scratches throughout. It rates Exc+. The blackened leather scabbard looks good. Minor crazing throughout, mostly towards the tip. The stitching and reverse hanger remain intact. Most are broken/lost to time. The brass crossguard, ferrule and cast eagle look great! Nice detail to the head. The black painted wood grip looks good. Minor crazing but no chips. The triple brass wire wrap remains 75% intact. See Italian Facist Daggers Reference by Fred Stephens pg 18. A fine example!
