DAF Leader Visor Cap Badge by RZM M1/17

Here we have a DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront - German Labour-Front) Visor Cap Badge by RZM M1/17 Assmann. This would be appropriate for Leaders visor (with the bullion wreath) as the EM visor wreath is integral to the DAF insignia. It is constructed out of a die stamped cupal base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse features the DAF emblem, which consists of; a centrally placed checkered mobile swastika that is surrounded by a cog wheel. The reverse is maker marked: "RZM M1/17" and has 3 soldered on, tombak based prongs. It measures approximately 30mm in diameter. A rarer piece, in superb condition!
