Niederwalddenkmal Stickpin
Here we have a Niederwalddenkmal stickpin. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed. The shield shape obverse has a picture of the Niederwalddenkmal monument, which is surrounded by a gold pebbled border. The Niederwalddenkmal monument was built in 1870's/80's to commemorate the unification of Germany. The full back reverse has a soldered in tombak stick pin. The stick pin has a curve on the one end that attaches a goblet to it. The goblet is constructed out of a tombak base, and has a soldered on loop on the stem. Cool!
