Rare blue/gray piped service hat with very rare Stab Rosenberg identity disc. This very rare hat, worn by governing officials of German occupied Poland and other eastern territories, features blue/gray crown piping indicating attachment to the Rosenberg unit. The highly stylized off-white machine embroidered RMBO eagle is factory machine sewn. This hat is near mint having only a bit of mothing one moth hole to the right side under the flap. Affixed to the front that connects the side panels, is the rare and RMBO stylized button. The interior is heavy padded for warmth. The interior features a partial leather sweatband. It is lined in tan cotton and is size stamped 58 ½ and maker stamped.
