A Model 1933 SS Dagger (Schutzstaffel Dienstdolch) by J.A. Henckels, RZM Contract Code “RZM The Henckels RZM 15/39SS maker mark below the Henckel's "Twins" and Meine Ehre heisst Treue motto remain clear, just like you want to see them! The tip comes to a sharp point and the blade / crossguard fit sits just right. The blade rates a solid Exc+ It has age gray and a bit of stain. The steel based black painted enamel scabbard body on this one looks good. It has just a hint of age crazing to the paint and small scratches, it retains 99%+ paint coverage. The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard fitting look good with 99% plating. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The zinc-alloy based nickel-silver plated crossguards retain 99% plating and fit the scabbard fittings nicely. The grip is black died hardwood remaining chip and crack-free. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and has a good fit. The SS roundel retains 99%+ of its enamel and has a perfect fit!Finally included is a vertical hanger.
