A Third Pattern - Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend (RADwJ) Dienstgradabzeichen in silber für Maidenunterführerin 1941 by Wilhelm Deumer of Lüdenscheid. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum alloy base that has been silver washed and chemically burnished. The round shape obverse depicts the RADwJ logo (a mobile swastika above two sheaths of wheat), on a pebbled backing surrounded by a triple lined border. The concave reverse is maker marked “D 41 RADJ”. It has a working peened on horizontal steel pin, hinge and catch assembly. It measures 1 13/16 inches in diameter. A great RADwJ piece! A multitude of variations and patterns!
