Hitler Youth Deutsches Jugendfest Tinnie 1935
A nice example! It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed. The oval shaped obverse shows a centrally placed Hitler Youth emblem in front of an eagles chest (with outstretched wings and its tongue out), which is above a burning camp fire and “Deutsches Jugendfest” (German Youth Festival) and below “1935” which is surrounded by half an oak leaf wreath. The hollow back reverse has a horizontally soldered on tombak pin that remains in well working condition. The silver wash is better than 95%. Nice detail as well! It measures approximately 1 3/16 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. A nice tinnie that every Hitler youth collection should have!
