A unique piece! This miniature Luftwaffe Dagger has a inscription to the Daily Newspaper of HannoverNiedersächsische Tageszeitung Hannover. The bright plated blade on this one is a beauty. It features the dedication, “D.R.G.M.” and the “SMF Solingen” maker mark. The scabbard is in excellent condition, with detailed bands, tip and embossed random pebbling throughout. It remains completely dent free with a beautiful airplane grey finish. The aluminum based Luftwaffe eagle crossguard looks great! The ferrule and pommel are also in awesome shape with nice patina and the detailed oak leaves and acorns! The trylon wire wrapped grip looks excellent! It measures ? inches tall. A nice and unique piece!
