Here we have a Machete Bayoneta Modelo 1941! This Knife Bayonet was designed for use on the 8 mm. Mauser M1943 Short Rifle. The 9 ¾ inch single fuller curved blade on this one looks great! It is serialized “15996 H”. It has a solid fit and tip. The blade rates NM. It is clean. The blued steel based scabbard looks great! It has a nice and dark finish and remains completely dent free! The original throat retaining screw remains intact. It is marked but I can not make it out. The blued hilt is steel based. It shows minor oxidization spotting as well yet looks great. Both checkered bakelite grip plate remain tightly secured. The pommel button continues to work well. A great looking Spanish bayonet!
