This is only available to US buyers due to import restrictions. Well this ultimate Army dagger for the advanced collector! Absolutely the most desirable dagger that could be bought in the period and remains the pinnacle today! The etched blade and bone grips were extra cost options that could be specially ordered. This would have been for the well-heeled Officer. The blade conforms to the textbook pattern shown in Witty's reference. The plating and etching are well done and there is some age to the blade. It has the very slightly yellow tinge that we see on all original Voos examples. An Exc/Exc+ blade. It is etched with the correct Voos, "snake around the stump" maker mark. Shows most of the light grey burnishing in the actual engraving. The grip has age striations and minor marks/stains which is absolutely normal on period grips. No chips and it has beautifully aged. The Generic Type A fittings are correct and exactly what one expects to see on an original Voos dagger. All the fittings display nice even patina. The scabbard is a very nice dent-free example with excellent plating. This one also comes with a honest worn portepee. A very desirable dagger you will be proud to own.
