SA Gruppe Franken Sports Tinnie 1938. It is constructed out of a die struck aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The round obverse features an SA Sports Badge, which depicts; a vertical broad sword, in front of a mobile swastika, which is surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath that is tied together at both sides, that is surrounded by a bordered “Gruppe Franken Kampftage der SA 1938” (SA Franken Group Fight Day). The full back reverse features a horizontally crimped on well working steel pin and is maker marked: “L. Chr. Lauer Nurnberg-Berlin”. It depicts excellent detail and the silver wash remains in very good condition. It measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. A beautiful piece!
