A fully-lined, three-quarter length, dark navy blue wool tunic, whose single-breasted fly front is closed by nine hooks and eyes, which lead to a stand-up collar with a dual hook and eye closure at the throat. A horizontal slash pocket is to each hip. The tunic is trimmed in a decorative black wool lace, with cuff insignia. To either collar are sewn black wool collar tabs with a horizontal band of gold color tress. Pinned to the tress are two alloy cherry blossoms denoting the rank of Sub Lieutenant. There are 5 ribbon bars to the left breast. To the interior there is a tear below the collar. This measures 17” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. The arm is 21” from shoulder seam to the cuff. The measure from the Top of the collar to the bottom of the tail is 26”. Across the waist 38”. This shows some wear.
