Oh yea, guys look all day for examples with this sort of finish!! There remains good brennlack finish. The badge is slightly vaulted and maker marked just below and to the left of the hinge, "FLL" in three stylized circles as was their habit. This is a textbook CCC, see Durante's excellent reference, pg 191. The backing plate is magnetic. The hinge and flat wire "C" catch are tombac.
