U.S. Women's Army Corps
The Women's Army Corps (WAC) was the women's branch of the United States Army. It is constructed out of a die stamped sterling silver base that has been gold gilded. The observe depicts the official insignia of the U.S. Women's Army Corps: the Greek goddess Athena. The hollow back reverse has a horizontally soldered on pin, hinge and catch assembly that remains in well working condition. It measure approximately ¾ of an inch wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. It comes with its original blue velvet covered pressed case insert. It is above a “Sterling Silver” sticker. A nice one!
