SS Honor Ring
A SS Totenkopf Honor Ring (SS-Ehrenring) with COA and Research Package awarded to SS- Hauptsturmführer Heinz Leidecker. It is engraved “S.lb, Leidecker 7.3.36 H. Himmler”. Skull is affixed directly above a nice seam of the ring indicating the ring was sized before it was welded closed. Exactly what we want to see on these pieces. The exterior displays a Totenkopf, sig rune, hagal rune swastika and a double gibor and bind rune. Interior exhibits a textbook inscription, engraved nicely into the ring. His early SS number is 4309 and his NSDAP Party # 321585. These rings were exclusively made by Karolina Gahr of Munich Germany. The ring shows wear. It comes with a COA issued by Don Boyle for Thomas T. Whittmann. Finishing the documentation that comes with the ring is a research packet prepared by Ross Kelbaugh including copies of: 3 photos; NSDAP Registration card; service records and race and resettlement files. Also included is a reproduction ring case. The ring measures approximately 23.5mm in diameter - Ring size 7.5. A desirable piece.
