A Rare Model 1933 SA Dagger (Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch) by Undine - Kuno Meissenburg of Solingen. The blade on this one is a looks great! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Undine Solingen" manufacturer's mark are both beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The crossgrain is wonderful easily visible through the full length of the blade. The blade rates an easy Exc++. It shows typical age spotting/grey and surface scratches throughout. The steel based brown anodized scabbard looks good. There is a large pressure marks to the reverse. It holds a nice brown finish to it. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings look great! The lower has a small wiggle to it. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The crossguards match the scabbard fittings in wear, color and patina. The reverse of the lower crossguard is correctly Gau stamped "Ho" (Hochland) to the far right. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect. The brown hardwood grip has an awesome grained look to it. It has a few small cracks throughout along with a few flakes. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A very nice and rare piece that will fit in well with your collection!
