Here we have a Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Dienstdolch) by RZM M7/85 (Arthur Evertz, Solingen). The blade on this one looks good! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/85" maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit remains nice and tight! The blade rates Exc++. It has been re-crossgrained or "snipped" and shows the common surface scratches throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks excellent! It continues to hold 98%+ of its original paint coverage. It shows only minor age spidering throughout and remains completely dent free. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look excellent with 99%+ plating still intact! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards are in excellent shape as well. They continue to retain with 97%+ plating coverage. The brown grained hardwood grip looks wonderful! It shows minimal pressure marks but no cracks, chips or flakes! The aluminum eagle shows beautiful detail and has a perfect fit!! The SA roundel retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! This one comes with a 1 piece dual RZM marked hanger. A great looking RZM NSKK dagger!
