Here we have a Rare Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Fritz Barthelmess of Muggendorf Bavaria. The blade on this one has been buffed and someone post-war-painted the scabbard. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Fritz Barthelmess Muggendorf Bavaria" maker mark are faded from the cleaning yet still visible. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! This blade rates an Exc. The scabbard is steel based and black post-war-painted. There is evidence that the scabbard fittings have been removed to paint. It remains dent free, retains all four screws and the ball retains its original round shape. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Fr" (Franken). The brown hardwood grip looks good. It has a few chips around the roundel and eagle. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details The SA roundel retains 98%+ of its enamel. Fully disclosed and priced to sell!
