A Luftwaffe Signal Standard
Made entirely of silk with silver fringe on three sides. Cinnamon with a white disc on both sides, surrounded by a laurel wreath. In centre of the disc a silver-embroidered Luftwaffe eagle with extended wings stretching over the wreath and an Iron Cross, respectively. Four white diagonal rays with black edges widening towards the corners, which bear black silk swastikas with silver bordering. Bright colours. Marks of nails on the staff sleeve. No corrosion, virtually no age. Dimensions circa 140 x 125 cm.
