The "heavy" version by the firm Deschler & Sohn in Munich, in absolute top condition; laurel wreath is silvered and the surfaces and edges are polished to a high gloss; fully preserved enamel swastika; reverse plate with six round-head rivets; unmarked attachment pin and catch; measuring approximately H 62.7mm x W 63.9mm, weighing 64.2g; orignal issue case constructed of thick cardstock covered in black leatherett paper with continuous silver line around upper lid; interior lid covered in off white silk; lower tray with very minor wear to flocking; strong hinge and push button catch; in very fine condition; measuring approximately 108.3mm x108.2mm x 27.7mm.
