Imperial Prussian Army Belt Buckle

Here we have an Imperial Prussian Army Belt Buckle. The two piece belt buckle is constructed out of a die struck, brass base. The front nickel roundel depicts the Imperial king’s crown which is then encircled by detailed lines and enclosed by two twisted ropes. The crown is above a laurel leaf pattern and below the Army motto: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us), The buckle shows nice age patina with lots of honest period wear.. The brass prongs and catch remain in excellent condition. It measures approximately 2 ½ inch wide by 2 inches high. A nice solid example!
