Also known as Italian Regia Aeronautica. A well detailed example of a rare buckle. The buckle is constructed out of a die struck tombac that has been gilded. This shows some honest wear to the high areas. It comes with a keeper but the catch itself is broke off and lost to time. The obverse depicts a crown over a right facing eagle. The roundel measures approximately 50mm round. A nice piece!
