Pioneer Standarte Flag Tinnie
Here we have a WHW Pioneer Standarte Flag Tinnie, introduced March 16-17th, 1940! This is one of a 20+ piece series of: “The Victorious Flags and Standards of the German Armed Forces” (Die Siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Deutschen Wehrmacht). It is constructed out of an injection molded grey bakelite base that has been silver washed and black painted. The obverse depicts a Pioneer Standarte Flag, on a pole. The reverse reads: “Pioneer” and “We 3”. The horizontally melted on steel pin assembly remains in well working condition. It measures approximately 1 1/8 inch wide by 1 1/4 inches tall. A nice one! Collect them all!
