Railway M44 Sleeve Eagle
Here we have a Railway (Deutsche Reichsbahn) M44 Sleeve Eagle! It is constructed out of black and yellow machine embroidered cotton thread to a black rayon base. The downward pointing triangular shaped obverse features a yellow Reichsbahn eagle with out-streached wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in one of its talons on a black base. It measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches tall. A rare bird!
