They don't come rarer than this! The maker rates 10 out of 10 for rarity! The blade on this one has seen better days. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Wilh. Krieger Solingen-Merscheid" maker mark look fine. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. This blade rates a VG/Exc. It shows age spotting, minor pitting and age grey throughout along with surface scratches throughout. The scabbard is steel based and brown anodized. It hold a nice matte brown finish to it. There are two wee hits to the right edge. The solid nickel scabbard fittings match the crossguards perfectly. The ball has two wee bruises to its bottom yet it retains a round shape and all four screws remain tightly intact. The one is sticking out slightly and the screw is striped. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Wf" (Westfallen). The brown hardwood grip looks as though it has been repaired to the left hand side. It also shows cracks, flakes and pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel is beautiful! It shows nice detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. The pommel nut has some scratches. Not the best condition but the rarest maker!
