SA Dagger by RZM M7/1/38

This is a great RZM example that would be just right for your collection! The blade on this one looks good! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/1/38" (Gebrüder Christians, Christianswerk, Solingen) maker mark are beautifully executed! BTW, for those of you who are anal about the details, this is the 1st variation RZM mark. The 2nd and later can be seen https://www.lakesidetrader.com/item.php?ID=8449&location=Archives. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. The crossgrain continues to look great! The blade rates an Exc++. It shows age grey/clouding and surface scratches throughout. The steel based brown enamel painted scabbard body looks excellent! It shows minor age spidering throughout yet it continues to remain completely dent free and retains 98%+ paint coverage! The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are also excellent shape! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect! The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards look great. They have the typical plating loss throughout. The brown hardwood grip is in near perfect shape! Just the common pressure marks throughout. No cracks, chips or flakes! The nickel-silver based eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ enamel and also has a perfect fit! This piece comes with a dual marked, well working, single piece hanger! The hangers slide is missing. A nice example!
