This one rates 8 out of 10 for rarity! The blade on this one has seen better days. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "G. Reinhold Solingen-Foche" maker mark are faint yet still visible. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point! This blade rates VG/Exc. It shows heavy scratches and age greying/spotting throughout. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks good. It continues to hold a beautiful dark brown finish to it along with 95% of its original factory lacquer! There is one wee pressure mark to the obverse and spidering throughout. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look good. They have the odd pressure mark throughout. The ball retains a nice round shape and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Wf" (Westfallen). The patina to the scabbard fittings and crossguards match perfectly! The brown hardwood grip looks fine. It has a chip out of the reverse and a crack to the obverse, along with pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 98%+ of its enamel. A fine piece at a fine price!
