A very nice piece! The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "G. Felix Gloriawerk Solingen" maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible to the full length of the blade, all the way from hilt to tip. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates a solid Exc++/NM. It shows the common surface scratches and minor age spotting throughout. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks excellent as well! It continues to remain completely dent free and holds 85%+ of its original factory lacquer! Hard to come by that much more! It retains a beautiful dark finish and only shows the slightest oxidization spotting. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Wm" (Westmark). The brown hardwood grip looks great! There are the odd pressure marks and flakes yet no chips or cracks! The patinaed solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The patinaed SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 95%+ of its enamel. An excellent piece!
