Early Neidhardt & Schmidt SA Dagger with Tiger-Stripe Grip

This one rates 7 out of 10 on the SA Rarity Rating! The blade on this one looks good. The crossgrain looks good, the fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto is nice a crisp with some wear to the high center ridge. The maker mark shows some wear and is a bit unevenly applied, do not let this worry you this feature is typical for this markerm I've seen it before. The blade rates a solid Exc+/Exc++. The anodized scabbard looks good and has some surface oxidation and about 4 small hits to the reverse. These are not big, I actually had to go back and add another picture when I found them. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great with nice matching patina. The ball remains completely round and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a pleasing snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "8109". The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown multi-toned "Tigerstripe" hardwood grip looks awesome! There are a couple hairlines, one above the roundel and another to the reverse upper and a rubb to the reverse but no chips! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. Overall it's a great example with a desirable grip recently purchased!
