Grade IV General Assault Badge by JFS
General assault badge with “75” missions. Struck in fine zinc, steel grey finished eagle over crossed stick grenade and bayonet with minor oxidation, oak leaf wreath retains nearly 90% of the original gilding with minor oxidation. Oh I am so tempted to give this the Vaseline treatment to make this disappear!!! but will hold back. Reverse retains comparable finish with raised maker mark “JFS” (Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz), complete with wide magnetic pin and catch.
