Fine field grey gabardine top, wide black velvet center band, white wool waffenfarbe piping, Zimmermann eagle and cupal Deschler skull. Twisted silver/aluminum chin cords retained by silver washed pebbled side buttons. Black lacquered vulcanfibre visor with subtly raised lip along forward edge and brown checkered underside. Interior is fully lined in a grey rayon with a “59” ink size stamp and is complete with a supple brown leather sweatband. Minor snags to top. Rare original Kleiderkasse style visor exhibiting minor age and wear with a great "crusher" look.
