Well, this here is an excellent looking SA! The bright blade on this one looks beautiful! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "J.P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl Gegr. 1751" maker mark beautifully contrast the bright blade! The crossgrain is stunning and runs the full length of the blade. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an easy Exc++/NM. It shows the common runner marks, but that's it. The brown anodized scabbard body looks great. It has some oxidization spotting tp the reverse. It continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look good matching the crossguards in color and wear. The ball has a hit to its bottom and all four screws remain intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "SA". The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks excellent! Just the common pressure marks but no cracks, chips or splits! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. An excellent SA all around!
