A nice piece here and opportunity to buy one of the rarest makers! This one rates a 10/10 on the rarity scale for you guys trying to find every maker. The blade on this one looks great. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both deeply executed! The blade rates NM. It has some runner marks but that's it. Yes it has a buffer pad. I know that scares some people just because it's not textbook however these guys did love their SA daggers and some did add buffers in the period. The brown anodized scabbard looks great remaining completely dent free! It has 99% of anodizing and some factory lacquer intact. There is some light evidence of wear. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in great shape. The ball remains in near perfect shape and all four screws remaining intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are also in great condition and match the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is deeply Gau stamped "Nm". The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The red-toned hardwood grip has a nice finish and looks excellent! Just the common pressure marks. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 98% of its enamel. Included is an early snout nosed hanger. Overall this is a nice solid example that will surely look great in your collection!
