A really interesting early example by Puma! The blade on this one is a bit tired. The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Puma Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! It's been cleaned and the blade shows age, runner marks and wear. It has a perfect fit and perfect tip! The blade rates an Exc. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard is in great condition! It shows a bit of oxidization spotting yet remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent! The ball continues to retain its round shape and all four scabbard screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and it closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wf". The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks great, it's been lacquered at some point. There are pressure marks throughout but no cracks or chips. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed! The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. I have hundreds of SA's but it's just so rare to find a tiger-stripe grip like this I could not let it slip out of my hands!
