Transitional SA's are quite hard to come by and to find one that isn't Eickhorn is even harder! I have no doubt this one will get snatched up quick! The blade on this one is a real beauty! The crossgrain is stunning, the tip and fit are both perfect and the dark "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and the transitional "RZM M7/37 / kissing cranes maker mark are both beautifully executed! The blade rates an easy NM. It shows the common runner marks and a the slightest spotting. The brown enamel repainted scabbard looks good. It shows some orange peel effect throughout and retains 98%+ paint coverage! The nickel plated scabbard fittings retain 99% plating coverage! It has a wee hit to the lower reverse of the lower fitting. All four screws remain intact and ball continues to remain perfectly round. The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect! The crossguards retain about 99% of their plating. The scabbard fittings and crossguard appear to have been cleaned. The light brown oak grip looks beautiful! No cracks chips or splits! The aluminium eagle is nicely detailed and fits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A beautiful grip and blade on this rare transitional example!
