Another one from that huge collection! The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Curdts Nachf Solingen" maker mark are both nicely executed! The crossgrain is easily visible all the way from the hilt to the tip. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates an Exc++. It shows the commonly seen age grey/spotting and surface scratches throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great. It continues to hold 85%+ of its paint coverage. It also remains completely dent free. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings look excellent! The ball has a bruise to the very bottom. All four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Ho" (Hochland). The brown hardwood grip looks excellent! Just the common pressure marks throughout along with a wee hairline just above the roundel. No chips or flakes! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A solid NSKK dagger!
