This one is about as rare as they come! This one rates 10 out of 10 for rarity on McSaar's SA rarity ratting The blade on this one looks decent. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Ludwig Groten Solingen" maker mark look good. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point! This blade rates Exc. It has been cleaned, there is heavy age grey/spotting throughout. The tip is has been ever-so-slightly touched up yet it continues to measure the full 220mm. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks fine. It shows oxidization spotting and minor pitting throughout along with the slightest pressure marks. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings look great. The ball has several bruises and all four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Ns" (Niedersachsen). The brown hardwood grip looks fine. It shows a few chips and crack along with the common pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle retains a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 95%+ of its enamel. A rare one!
