A great looking case! The case is constructed out of a wood and pressed cardboard base that is covered in a simulated, grained black leather. The very top features a silvered outline of a 1st Class Iron Cross. To the front is a round steel, spring loaded closure button. To the back is a steel based and bronze washed staggered bar hinge. The hinge and the closure button continue to function well. The interior top lid is lined in pearl satin and has an underlying pad. The bottom interior of the case is made of a thin black felt covered cardboard and outlines the pin, hinge and catch assembly. It has minor leather lifting below the button and some wear to the interior. It retains a nice dark color, well working components and a beautiful emblem! It measures approximately 2 11/16 inches wide and tall by ¾ inches thick. Complete your 1st Class Iron Cross today!
