Here we have a second pattern (1939) sew on type SA 'Foot' EM Shoulder Board. It is a multi-piece construction with the top portion having a brown four piece string base that is covered in brown rayon and silver-aluminum flatwire. The bottom portion is constructed out of a cardboard base with an internal steel wire stiffer that is covered in a gray wool material. It has a button hole to the bottom portion. The reverse also has a glued on RZM tag. It shows period age wear throughout. A nice clean obverse. It measures approximately 4 ½ inches tall by 1 inch wide. Nice!
