Here's a nice looking RZM piece! The blade on this one looks good. The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/80" (Gustav C. Spitzer, Solingen) maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning as it shines against the light, all the way from the hit to tip! The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit remains nice and tight! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. It shows age grey/spotting throughout. The steel based, brown enamel painted scabbard looks wonderful! It has 99%+ of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! Check out the neat little personalization to the back it reads: "GoLden Sept 23, 1944 Thoinville". Neat! The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look excellent with 99%+ plating still intact! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards are in good shape. They show the common plating thinning and loss yet continue to retain with 80%+ coverage. The grained brown hardwood grip looks wonderful! It only shows minimal pressure marks and there are no cracks, chips or flakes! The aluminum eagle shows beautiful detail and has a perfect fit!! The SA roundel retains 99% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great looking piece!
