The front features the left facing portrait of Field Marshal Archduke Friedrich of Austria in uniform and reads: “Feldmarschall Erzh. Friedrich”. The bottom right corner reads “A. Hartig HQ 1915.”. The reverse features The Roman goddess Athena Minerva with helmet, shield and spear holds in her left hand a laurel wreath and relies on a pedestal with army commander names: “Erzh. -Karl 1796-97 1799/1805 1809 / Erzh. Albrecht / 1849 1866 / Erzh. Friedrich / 1914 1915.”. It is partially surrounded by “Dem Oberkommandanten unserersiegreichen Armeen”. The base features “A. Hartig” and “K. F. A.”.
